Installing Windows 7 into Acer Travelmate 4220

Just upgrading Vista to Windows 7 on Acer TravelMate 4220 laptop, ones get no sound heard through the laptop. As it rather hard to find sound driver for his laptop, he was confuse to find away to make the sound
works properly. Is there any workaround and when / would / will there ever be a windows7 compatible audio driver for the Acer TravelMate 4220?
In case the sound issue on Acer TravelMate 4220 like above also comes to you, actually if you can track down a Vista compatible audio driver, it may work with Microsoft Windows 7. Usually it runs well because sometimes Vista drivers do the trick.
However, you can try to install XP driver in compatibility mode. Mostly, the drivers for XP OS works fine for Windows 7. And here is the download link of audio driver for Acer TravelMate 4220 that runs on Windows 7.
