Acer Aspire S3 Intel Chipset AHCI Realtek Audio Windows 7 Driver

Acer Aspire S3-951-6646 is equipped by a chiclet keyboard which is very responsive. It does not have a backlit, but if it does not really matter for you so it won’t be a significant problem. Some people think that the keyboard color is not really exciting, but it is still much better than the Asus and Lenovo’s ultrabooks. The keys are fine except the smaller arrow keys, you will need a while to get used to it. There are function keys although they are not dedicated to be a volume control, playback controls for video, etc. The multitouch trackpad is great. You can use the gestures to do some stuffs, however, you cannot create your own gestures. You can only use a predefined list of finger motions to trigger a predefined list of actions.

We can also say that the touchpad is too responsive since you should be more precise in doing swiping motion in a small area. If don’t, you will get a click command or it will ignore you. The weird thing continues when you swipe from the correct spot on the touchpad and you must still have to deal with a nice relaxing break before the arrow begins to move. The touchpad buttons are a bit stiff when you want to click, you really have to press quite hard. Therefore, some people assume that it is much easier when you use a mouse. One of the users has complaint about the collapsed question mark in the first-hour using. This leads to the opinion that the quality of the keyboard was not really considerable.
