Finally, the Acer unveiled the presence of a netbook supporting the built-in mobile broadband AT&T namely Acer Aspire One AO722-0667. Mainly, it is supported by the Fusion APU with a huge 500GB hard drive and 4GB of memory. In the market, this model is offered at $349.99 at Costro. Firstly, let’s take a look on the design. It has an Espresso Black chassis with a glossy lid furnishing a ripple design. It measures one inch due to the absence of an optical drive. Its weight is about 2.98 pounds and it is still lighter as the 11-incher netbooks. The laptop is equipped by the 11.6-inch widescreen which has a standard resolution of 1366×768 pixels. You can see a website in a full screen which is more comfortable that the 10-inch display (1024×600) on many netbooks. While the keyboard consists of the chiclet keys which are big and soft to type on. It is less than full-sized and there is a bit flexing in the keyboard which makes it look cheap. However, the touchpad is smooth and easily navigated. The unified mouse button is a bit thin, so you need time to get used to.

The connectivity features of the Acer Aspire One AO722-0667 are the built-in HSPA+, an HDMI, a VGA, three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet jack, headphone and mic jacks, a media card reader (xD/SD/MMC) and 802.11n WiFi. No Bluetooth option here, but it is normal for the budget. Then, the processor is named as AMD C-60 APU which gains 0.46 points in Cinebench R11.5. It is paired with the AMD Radeon HD 6290 which help you to have detailed video editing and future Web browsers. What becomes the lack of its performance is the battery life. It is considered a short since it only lasts for 5 hours 41 minutes on the MobileMark 2007 test. It is shorter than the HP dm1z (7 hours 8 minutes) and Acer 722 (7 hours 17 minutes). The netbook can be ordered for $40 with a 2-year contract including at least 3GB of data plan which currently costs $30 per month. That is to say, the Acer Aspire One AO722 is ready to be ordered.
